Harmony has become one of the most mantras/memes in Masonry.
1. “Harmony being the strength of all societies especially of our” is always declared by the Senior Warden during the opening and closing of the Lodge.
2. “Peace and Harmony Prevailing” is the common phrase at the end of the minutes of the stated meeting.

Why Harmony?
Because of all the discussions, the difference in opinion, dissent or disagreement inside the Lodge, at the end of the meeting there still exist peace and harmony among brother masons, the sacred principle inherent to obligated brothers of the craft.
Peace and Harmony prevailing, the lodge is closed…that after the differences in opinions/views, debates have been held, then the Lodge returned to “harmony to close”.
As your Grand Lodge Inspector, my role is to institute harmony and balance to the Lodge. See to it that rules and regulation of the Grand Lodge are being adhered to together with the principles of Freemasonry.
