Saturn's Transit to the 12th house is a time of deep reflection, contemplation, and review, of all that has transpired in your life up until now. The realism Saturn adds to our house of dreams, spirituality and unconscious can be quite illuminating. He shows us how we may have sabotaged ourselves through our illusions that we have set up, our self denials, any painful experiences we have consciously chosen to block out, things that are hindering us still today. The 12th house is the house of secrets, sorrows and self undoing, among many other areas such as; hospitals, prisons, and institutions. It's where we have imprisoned ourselves through our insecurities, actions, and unconscious behaviors. We can now 'see THESE things clearly' and for what they REALLY are; NOT behind " Neptune's 12th house veil". This may bring out in some a tremendous amount of guilt, regret, or sadness. Disappointment in others is also common, as you reflect. This is the "house of sorrows" and self undoing" you acknowledge and release. This is the purpose of Saturn's transit here. Ironically so however, there seems to be some added comfort to the individual which completely goes with the theme, of the 12th house (hospital, sanctuary). These come in many forms, different from one individual to the next, but the common factor of as they go through this process of healing, they will be protected. Circumstances surrounding the individual our strangely comforting in a surreal way. This time truly is preparation for a new cycle, before Saturn moves into your 1st house of self; and begins again. We need to let go, forgive ourselves and move forward, but not without a understanding of these pitfalls, escapism, or denial are no longer their to protect you. The rose colored glasses are off and you are facing (Saturn reality) in your unconscious mind. However, if you have been honest with yourself, a realist all the time, then this transit can be a "walk in the park", and you will enjoy the mystical side that is also prevalent in another side of this transit.
